Bill lived and worked in the Washington, DC, New York City and Princeton, NJ areas before moving to Melbourne in 1989. He has been active in the community and has been involved in regular fund raising activities.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Bill is admitted to the State Bars of Florida, New York, District of Columbia and Maryland. He is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Section's Antitrust, Franchise & Trade Regulations Committee. He is also a member of the Brevard County Bar Association and the Indian River County Bar Association.
Bill worked as a trial attorney for the Foreign Commerce Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC before entering the corporate sector as Counsel for RCA Corporation and later Senior Counsel for General Electric. Bill was responsible for corporate, government, contract and international matters for GE’s semiconductor and ceramics businesses. He was Division Counsel for Harris Corporation and General Counsel and a member of the senior staff at Reed Telepublishing, a $500 million multi-national New York area corporation. In all these positions, Bill regularly focused on general corporate matters, high profile and day-to-day business issues, commercial and government contracts, technology protection and licensing, and the resolution of disputes. In 1994, Bill entered the private practice of law in Melbourne, Florida. He is also affiliated with Farkas + Toikka, LLP, a Washington, DC law firm.
PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
In recent years, Bill has represented privately held companies, public corporations, government agencies and universities in connection with corporate transactions, litigation and disputes, employment problems (representing management), copyrights and trademarks, technology licensing, government contracts, exports, international trade and general business matters. He has structured and negotiated numerous business agreements. He is also the author or co-author of articles and is a regular speaker on a variety of subjects.
